What is Cryotherapy?

Whole Body Cryotherapy is a wellness treatment where you briefly expose your body to extremely cold temperatures for just two to four minutes inside a cryochamber. This intense, short burst of cold triggers the body’s natural stress response, causing blood vessels to constrict and then rapidly reopen afterward, which can help reduce inflammation and promote circulation. Many people report feeling energized and refreshed after a session, and research suggests it may temporarily relieve muscle soreness, support recovery after exercise, and boost mood by stimulating endorphin release. While it isn’t a medical cure, Whole Body Cryotherapy can provide a quick, invigorating way to support overall physical recovery and general well-being.

Benefits

Reduces Inflammation

Cryotherapy reduces inflammation by constricting blood vessels, slowing cellular activity, and decreasing inflammatory chemicals, helping the body recover faster.

Oxygenates the Blood

The cold causes blood vessels to constrict, then dilate once you warm up, increasing circulation. This rebound effect sends freshly oxygenated blood from the lungs to your tissues more efficiently, supporting recovery and reduing inflammation.

Boosts Immune System

Cryotherapy helps support the immune system by reducing inflammation and triggering the release of protective proteins, helping the body respond more efficiently to stress and recovery.

Anxiety and Depression

Cold exposure stimulates the nervous sytem, triggering the release of dopamine and endorphins, which can boost mood, reduce stress, adn create a natural feel good effect.

Increase Energy

Cryotherapy exposure activatesthe nervous system and increases adrenaline, which boosts alertness and circulation, leading to a natural rise in energy.

Metabolic Response

The cold forces the body to work harder to maintain its core temperature, activating processes like shivering and fat burning, which increases metabolism and energy use.

Boosts Seratonin

During cryotherapy, the sudden cold activates your stress response, releasing norepinephrine and increasing brain signaling activity. This enhances the production of serotonin, helping regulate mood and creating a more balanced, uplifted feeling after the session.

Mental Clarity

By increasing blood flow to the brain, activating the nervous system, and increasing the release of norepinephrine, enhances alertness, focus, and cognitive function.

Muscle Recovery

Cold supports muscle recovery by reducing inflammation, slowing nerve activity to east soreness, and limiting swelling in damaged tissues
